P6
A) Setting up equipment
The camera, External monitor and tripod were set up by the Camera operator (Will) and the Cinematographer (Josh B)
The microphone, Boom, Headphones, And audio recorder were all set up by the sound coordinator (Josh C) and I helped Josh out by holding the boom as I was the SFX supervisor and was not needed when shooting in the garage.
The LED lights were set up by the Gaffer (Ollie) and moved and adjusted to the directors request.
When handling equipment everyone made sure to be careful and not damage anything. The lights were especially wobbly so the gaffer did a good job not to damage them.
B) Following the storyboard
We had to re-shoot the radio as we didn't have enough footage for the sequence. The radio worked well however as it meant I could add background music to the sequence.
D) Following production processes
All the audio files and recordings are in labeled folders. We used a clapper board so that we could easily identify which clip was which.
Editing the rough cut
I imported all of the clips made a very basic rough cut by putting every clip in order and not cutting it or trimming any clips down.
I then removed every clip apart from the first one and cut down the clip so that the clapperboard is not in the shot. I also put the first sound effect into the shot but I was still using the audio from the camera. I should have put the audio recorded from the microphone in whilst adding each individual clip however I added it in later after the whole sequence was cut down.
Finishing adding all of the shots into the sequence and cutting them down to remove the clapperboard and the directors directions.
I started to import the audio clips into the project and syncing up the audio with the clips.
I removed all of the audio from the camera and only used the audio from the microphone. I also imported a clock ticking sound effect to and added a transition between the two recordings of the clocks to show time passing.
I changed the colouring of the footage filmed from the classroom as the lighting was different and the colour looked different.
This is the first version of my film completed.
I found a heartbeat sound effect for the scene when the cut is shown.
I then added the song for the backing of the sequence, I used a special effect to change the audio to sound like it is coming through a radio which makes the song fit in.
To make the it sound even more like the song is coming on from a radio station I added a click sound effect and a radio search sound effect. This makes the song fit in better and makes it feel like it is actually in the sequence.
I deleted the original colour correction as it didn't match with the clips from the garage. I made the lighting bluer as the lighting in the garage comes more blue than yellow.

B) Following the storyboard
We filmed the shot of the clock to show time passing and as a transition of time. I didn't think that we would need to use this shot however after we did not get every scene filmed this shot became very important as we did not film the boxes being swapped so this helped show time passing.
The opening shot of the workbench was not that different from original storyboard, however we did not have the shot as far out as the storyboard says.
C) Following safe working practices
when working on the sequence, I adjusted made sure I was sitting comfortably and was appropriate to my proportions. For example I made sure that I was not stretching for the mouse or the keyboard.D) Following production processes
